VINHO VERDE REGION
Vinho Verde is the largest wine-producing region in the northwest of Portugal, characterized by a cold climate with a lot of rain.
In this region, the green tones of the exuberant vegetation, typical of a region with a lot of humidity, predominate. However, the name Vinhos Verdes is not only due to the environment where the vines grow: it is in this region that a typically acidic, light, moderately alcoholic wine with excellent digestive properties is produced.
