Although it is not an aged liquor, it is stored and consequently “rested” in oak casks, which makes for a gentle rum. Combining the lightness of rum flavor with the distinctive aroma of cachaca. While it does not contain sugar, it has a slightly sweet taste due to the period it is in contact with the wood of the barrel.
